Happy 2014!

New year. I’m trying to be more productive with my art. I have so many ideas and things I’ve thought about for ages. It’s past time to turn these ideas into finished projects.

Strange thing: being creative makes me feel more creative? Who knew?

First Up: Queen (tentative title) paintings. Not the band Queen. More like queen bee, royal queen. The composition came before the meaning. Although I don’t personally believe every piece of art needs a meaning outside of itself. I think a work of art can exist for its own aesthetic beauty.
