Thumbnails galore!

I went though some of my old artwork as part of my resolution to be more productive this year. (I just need to make art, man…) I was looking for projects that I can update, redo, or finish. I have a lot of drawings from high school but it’s mostly girls just standing on a blank page doing nothing. That’s not much to go on.

But a few things did catch my eye:

left (top, bottom): a couple drawings from high school; middle (top, bottom): a couple sketches that later became prints (letterpress and pronto plate lithography, respectively); right (top, bottom): sketch for a Tarot card and a sketch of some chickens ’cause I love birds.

Right now I’m really just trying to get quantity with these thumbnails. Then I’ll pick the most interesting ones and do some more sketching. See what works, what doesn’t, and turn some of them into finished work.
